The second day of nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 began with the U.S., French and British foreign minister’s arriving in Geneva and diplomats expressing optimism about reaching a deal.
Yesterday’s meeting ended on a positive note from the Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif.
A spokesman for EU foreign affairs, Michael Mann, was also positive about the start of the talks but he told reporters that there had been an agreement not to reveal any of the details of the talks for the time being.
This is the second time the Iranian delegation is meeting with the 5+1 since President Hassan Rohani came to power in Iran.
The U.S. president has said the sanctions against Iran could be eased if any progress is made in the negotiations.
