IRNA reports that according to the Khoy Governor, the conflict in the Razi Border region led to the death of two IRGC officers and two Pjak members and also left four Pjak members wounded. The injured have been transferred to the local hospital.

The Razi Border between Iran and Turkey was closed by Turkish authorities 10 days ago due to the recent unrest in Turkey.

Clashes between the Iranian military and Pjak forces have grown more frequent in recent weeks. On August 11, Pjak forces killed five Basij members in Kamyaran.
