Labor rights abuses occur daily in Iran, with no person/body held accountable. Attempts of local activists to protest these violations are often met with force. There have been limitations within advocacy groups who often lack much needed information from the ground in order to build their case within the international arena. Therefore, Zamaneh Media has decided to monitor, analyze and publish on local labor rights developments in Iran in bi-monthly briefs in both Persian and English.
These briefs details the state of labor rights and legislation in Iran to develop alliances of knowledge sharing in order to promote and build public pressure for the adoption and enforcement of internationally-recognized treaties related to workers in Iran.These briefs are intended to provide a thematic ‘big-picture’ and to shed light on key areas of concern
