Labor Rights in Iran
Labor rights abuses occur daily in Iran, with no person, company, or institution held accountable. Attempts by domestic activists to protest these violations are often met with force. Advocacy groups have been limited by the lack of much-needed on-the-ground information from within Iran to build their case and push for change internationally.
Zamaneh Media monitors, analyzes, and publishes reporting on labor rights issues in Iran. This work is consolidated into quarterly reports, special reports on specific labor topics, and annual reports published around International Workers’ Day.
