A group of Khuzestan Steel retirees gathered in front of Iranian Parliament on Sunday June 22 to protest the non-payment of their pension.
Parliament’s News Agency reported on Sunday that Khuzestan Steel Company retirees are calling on Parliament to meet their demands.
The protesters carried placards demanding that employment standards legislation be followed to the letter and that all of the deferred pension payments be brought up to date.
ISNA reports that Khuzestan Steel pensioners have not received their pension for several months and they want Parliament to look into the matter.
