The Rohani cabinet was officially established today August 19 after their first meeting.
New Iranian President Hassan Rohani announced the agenda, highlighting economic issues as the cabinet’s top priority.
“We will have two meetings each week with economic ministers to establish a framework for our plan of action,” Rohani said.
While acknowledging that they are facing serious problems, he added: “The administration is by no means discouraged, and nothing will affect our determination.”
He stressed that the administration is primarily concerned with improving the livelihood of the people.
