The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reports that Mohammadi reportedly refused to open the door to officials that arrived at her home to arrest her, but they forced their way in and transferred her to prison.

Mohammadi is involved in ongoing court proceedings for the charge of propaganda against the regime, assembly and collusion against national security, and establishing and joining a banned organization.

Mohammadi is also one of the women that met with Catherine Ashton at the Austrian Embassy in Tehran when the EU foreign policy chief was visiting Iran. She was summoned to court on account of this meeting and released on bail of 600 million toumans.

Mohammadi was first charged and arrested after the controversial 2009 presidential election that led to widespread protests. She was sentenced to six years in jail for her social activities. She was later released for medical reasons.

Mohammadi was also involved in protests against acid attacks on women in Isfahan, which has triggered new charges against her by the authorities.
