The second annual Persian Gardens festival, aimed at promoting dialogue and discussion of different aspects of Persian gardens, will take place from May 21 to 23 at the Qasr Museum Garden in Tehran.
At this festival, an initiative by the NGO World of Persian Gardens, several researchers in the fields of the environment, cultural heritage, architecture and art history will present their studies in connection with Persian Gardens.
The festival has been supported by several organizations such as the Tehran Cultural Spaces Development Company.
The festival will consist of organic gardening workshops, talks and discussion panels as well as the screening of documentary films by Iranian and foreign filmmakers and music performances.
The Persian garden was registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List in 2011.
