Irina Bukova, UNESCO Director-General will visit Iran on April 25 for a visit extended to her by Iran’s Minister of Science and Technology, Reza Farajidana.
Shargh daily reports that the visit comes ten years since the former head of UNESCO visited Iran.
Bukova’s trip is scheduled to take five days including visits to Isfahan, Fars and Kerman provinces in addition to the capital.
She is also scheduled to meet with Iran’s foreign minister Moahmmad Javad Zarif on Saturday and give a speech at the foreign ministry reception.
