Hossein Nouraninejad
Hossein Nouraninejad, an Iranian political activist and member of the reformist Islamic Iran Participation Front party, was arrested on Monday April21.
ILNA reports that Parastoo Sarmadi, Nouraninejad’s wife, has reported that officials entered their home with an arrest warrant and said that he would be taken to Ward Aleph of Evin Prison.
The Kaleme website also reports that their home was searched and many of Nouraninejad’s personal belongings and identification documents were confiscated.
Nouraninejad was arrested in September of 2009 and served one year in jail for the charge of propaganda against the regime.
