Massoud Jafari, the head of Mazandaran Province security forces, says 13 women and four men have been arrested at a “mixed night party.”
The Mehr News Agency reports that Morality Police were informed of a night party being held in city of Abbas Abad and immediately went into action, acquiring a warrant to arrest the people at the party.
He added that a search of the premises yielded alcohol and drugs, which have been handed over to the judiciary officials along with the detainees.
Most of the detainees are reportedly from Tehran and Rasht and allegedly were invited to the party through the internet by the owner of the villa.
