IAEA inspectors on a two-day visit to Tehran have come to an agreement with Iranian negotiators regarding further cooperation on seven issues.
The new agreement will allow the UN nuclear watchdog to gain further information about new areas of Iran’s nuclear program and provide access to a number of nuclear facilities including the Yazd Saghand Uranium Mine, the Ardkan Condensing Factory, the Arak reactor and the Lashkarabad Laser Centre.
The agreement is a follow-up to the Geneva agreement reached between Iran and the 5+1 in November and it will take effect next May.
In the new deal, Iran has also agreed to provide the IAEA inspectors with information about radioactive materials and imports.
