Mohsen Mirdamadi
Mohsen Mirdamadi, the chair of the reformist party the Islamic Iran Participation Front, has been given time off from prison.
According to a report by Kaleme, former MP Mohsen Mirdamadi began his temporary release on the evening of December 1.
After the June 2009 presidential election, which saw Mahmoud Ahmadinejad declared the victor, Mirdamadi was arrested and kept in the detention cells of the Revolutionary Guards until March of 2010, when he had his first temporary release.
Accused of campaigning against the state and conspiring to destroy national security, Mohsen Mirdamadi was sentenced to six years in prison and a 10-year ban on political and media activities.
