Talks between Iran and the 5+1 delegates have moved into the third day with both sides announcing significant progress in the negotiations.

The two sides are expected to issue a joint statement, according to Iranian deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi, who said: “A joint statement including the three-stage proposal by Iran is being negotiated, and the framework is the one Iran proposed in the first round of talks in Geneva.”
The deputy head of Iran’s Parliament announced today that the negotiating team has the support of Parliament and the leader.
