The Kurdistan Provisional Council has decided in an emergency meeting to put Revolutionary Guards forces on alert in Yazd, Lorestan and Esfahan Provinces.
The Kordpa website reports that the head of National Security and the Minister of the Interior attended the meeting through video conferencing.
An unidentified source told Kordpa that Revolutionary Guards from the provinces of Lorestan, Yazd and Isfahan are authorized to enter Kurdistan.
Following the recent execution of three Kurdish political prisoners, the militant Kurdish group PJAK announced that it will respond to those executions.
However, the execution of the Kurdish prisoners has been condemned by the Rohani administration’s chief of Ethnic and Religious Minorities Affairs, Ali Younesi, as an "extremist" move.
