The Mashhad Friday Mass Imam, a hardline cleric, has spoken out against a proposal to put recent developments in Iran-U.S. relations to a referendum.
On Wednesday, Ahmad Alamolhoda said: “Fundamentals of the Revolution cannot be put to referendum! All our martyrs rose to fight the arrogance; the Revolution is based on the fight against the world arrogance.”
Iranian hardliners refer to the U.S. as the world arrogance.
