
The European Court of Justicen(ECJ) rescinded some of its sanctions against Iran on Friday September 6.
The German New Agency reports that the European Court of Justice rescinded sanctions against seven companies and one individual today.
The court found there is not sufficient evidence to establish connection between Iran’s nuclear program and the banks and companies on the list, Post Bank Iran, Iran Insurance Company and Export Development Bank of Iran Good Luck Shipping, Persia International Bank, Iranian Offshore Engineering & Construction Co, Bank Refah Kargaran
Nasser Bateni, the former head of Hanseatic Trade Trust & Shipping (HTTS), based in Hamburg, was also removed from the EU blacklist.
The court upheld sanctions against the Iran Melli Bank and theEuropaeisch-Iranische Handelsbank.
