A man from Sierra Leone has been accused of trying to sell yellow cake uranium to Iran.
Patrick Campbell, a 33-year-old man from Freetown, Sierra Leone, was arrested in New York with a sample of yellow cake in the soles of his shoes, Reuters reports.
The report indicates that the accused allegedly presented himself as a yellow cake broker when he responded to an ad posted by a Homeland Security agent representing parties in Iran.
Campbell faces 20 years in prison and $1 million in fines if he is found guilty.
