Bijan Namdar Zanganeh
Bijan Namdar Zanganeh has been chosen as oil minister in the Rohani cabinet that will take over the administration this month.
ISNA reports that Bijan Namdar was the final choice of the president-elect and he will take over the oil ministry if Parliament endorses him with a vote of confidence.
Bijan Namdar, 61, previously served as minister in several portfolios — reconstruction, power and oil — in the administrations of Ali Khamenei, Hashemi Rafsanjani and Mohammad Khatami respectively. He also served in the Expediency Council until two years ago.
