Iran’s Intelligence Ministry announced today, July 19, 2013, that it will look into the illegal installation of surveillance equipment in the office of prominent MP Ali Motahari.
Intelligence Minister Heydar Moslehi said: “This is an important and questionable matter and it needs to be investigated with care.”
Moslehi stressed that following it receipt of the complaint letter written by Motahari, the ministry began its investigation by examining the office that had been wiretapped, and the investigation is currently ongoing.
