Protests by workers from the Zagros Steel Factory continued Tuesday in front of the Iranian Parliament in Tehran.
The Fars News agency reports that the workers are protesting their dismissal and months of unpaid wages.
More than 200 workers were reportedly laid off from the Zagros Steel Factory in Kurdistan last week. The workers, who had been staging protests for days in Kurdistan, moved to Tehran and gathered yesterday on Pasteur Avenue.
A Kurdistan MP has reportedly appeared among the protesters to hear their grievances.
The Zagros Steel Company has closed down after at least two years of showing losses.
