An earthquake that measured 4 on the Richter scale shook the city of Shanbeh in Bushehr Province in southwestern Iran.
IRNA reports that the earthquake hit the Shanbeh area at 4:39 AM.
Another earthquake also shook Dahrum in Fars Province and was measured at 3.9 on the Richter scale.
There have been no reports of any damages or injuries due to these earthquakes.
In March, Bushehr was hit by a stronger earthquake, which left 37 people dead and more than a thousand injured.
Southern parts of Iran have experienced several earthquakes of varying size in the past months. The earthquakes in Bushehr have generated some concern regarding the safety of the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, but plant officials have dismissed those concerns, emphasizing that the plant can withstand earthquakes as strong as 8 on the Richter scale.
