Detained journalists Massoud and Khosro Kordpour have been allowed a visit from their families 45 days after their arrest in Kurdistan.
Media outlets in Kurdistan report that the visit took place on Monday April 22 at the Revolutionary Guards detention centre in Oroumiyeh.
The brothers were arrested in March by Intelligence Ministry officials in Mahabad and were later transferred to Oroumiyeh, where they were held incommunicado until Monday.
The arrest warrant for the brothers has been renewed but so far no official charges have been laid against them.
The Kordpours used to run the Mokerian News service, which focused on news and events in the province of Kurdistan in northwestern Iran.
