Iranian authorities have arrested another Gonabadi dervish, Abdolghafour Ghalandarinejad, in Bandar Abbas.
The Majzooban-e Noor website reports that security officials arrived at Ghalandarinejad’s home on the morning of Saturday April 20 and, after confiscating his laptop, computer, books and CDs, they put him under arrest. Ghalandarinejad was also arrested last August and transferred to the Intelligence Ministry’s detention centre in Tehran.
The report indicates that he was released after six days of intense interrogations and warned not to collaborate with the Majzooban-e Noor website again.
The website indicates that in the past two years, all collaborators with the Majzooban’e Noor website have been subjected to persecution and more than 20 of its managers, lawyers, staff and contributors have been arrested.
