A bus carrying Iranian pilgrims to Samarrah was the target of a bomb attack in Iraq today that left two people dead and 15 injured.
Masood Akhavan, the head of the Iran Pilgrims and Pilgrimages Organization, told Mehr that the bus was carrying pilgrims from Mazandaran province in northern Iran when a bomb exploded beside the bus.
The report adds that two of the injured are now in critical condition. The dead have been identified as Leyla Keshavarzian and Nazdaneh Saadi.
