Five people were killed and 12 injured after a bus carrying Iranian pilgrims exploded today, Saturday, in Baghdad.
The Mehr News Agency quoted Al-Forat Iraqi News Agency saying five Iranian pilgrims were killed in a bomb explosion in northern Baghdad. The bomb was magnetically attached to the bus while it was on its way to Samerrah.
An Iranian pilgrims organization reported that the pilgrims bus attacked in Iraq today had left from Kashan on an independent pilgrimage journey and was not connected with its program.
Meanwhile, AFP reported there have been several explosions in Iraq today that killed at least 18 people, including three children, and injured many others.
According to the report, the explosions targeted Shiite neighbourhoods in Iraq.
