Javad Hardani
Men’s Discus competitor Javad Hardani won Iran’s ninth gold medal on September 7 at the 14th Paralympic Games in London.
Iran also grabbed another silver medal on day 10 of the games, with Kamran Shokrsalari winning second position in the Men’s Javelin Throw – F42 class.
Hardani had already won a bronze medal in men’s shot put earlier.
Iran now holds nine gold, six silver and six bronze medals and is ranked 11th on the medals chart.
Iran’s sitting volleyball team, five-time champions at the Paralympic Games, beat Russia on September 6 in the semi-finals and will meet Bosnia-Herzegovina for another chance at the gold tomorrow, September 8.
