Three gas pipelines have exploded in Qom Province, Iranian media report, with no cause yet determined.
Mehr News Agency reports that emergency teams and Iran National Gas inspectors are investigating what caused the blasts.
Iran National Gas workers are reported to be primarily concerned with emptying the pipelines, which carry gas from southern Iran to the country’s northwest regions.
In February, Qom Province was rocked by another gas explosion, which disrupted gas supply to Iran’s north and northwest.
The deputy oil minister announced that the blasts were in no way due to technical failures.
