The Night of Decree is in Islamic belief the night when the verses of the Quran were revealed to the Islamic prophet Muhammad. Shiite Iranians gather in mosques on this night (and two more days near this date), they put the Quran to their heads and they pray. It is commonly believed that this one night worship is better than 1000 months of worship since angels are descend to earth and sins are forgiven.
