World Press Freedom Day

World Press Freedom Day was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in December 1993 to be observed on May 3rd. World Press Freedom Day was marked in 2016 with the theme of “Access to Information and Fundamental Freedoms – This Is Your Right!”
