On Saturday January 30, Iran`s Leader reportedly visited the tomb of the late Iranian leader Ayatollah Khomeini, and Hassan Khomeini, the late leader’s grandson, accompanied Ayatollah Khamenei on this visit.

Hassan Khomeini announced yesterday that he will appeal his disqualification but he is not very optimistic about the outcome.

Hassan Khomeini is linked to the moderate forces and reformists in the Islamic Republic arena, and the conservatives are working hard to prevent moderate forces from getting any majority hold on the Assembly of Experts or Parliament, which are both up for election.
