A group of participants at the Muharram mourning ceremony at the home of Islamic Republic Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei began chanting slogans against parliamentary speaker Ali Larijani for his support of the nuclear deal.

The Entekhab website reports that once Ali Larijan entered the ceremony on Saturday October 24, a group of participants began chanting extreme slogans. The slogans question the nuclear agreement between Iran and the 5+1, which was recently approved by the Iranian Parliament.

On the previous night, the Iranian president was met with similar chants when he attended mourning ceremonies at the home of Ayatollah Khamenei.

The Entekab website writes: “Ali Larijani’s support of the nuclear agreement and his assistance in getting it approved by Parliament have raised the anger of extremists.”
