Asghar Farhadi has called on anyone interested in a role in his next film to send him a video recording of themselves for consideration.
IRNA reported on Friday September 18 that Kaveh Sajjadinia, Farhadi’s assistant, says Farhadi has posted a video message calling on the public to send video recordings of themselves to the Telegram address provided if they are interested in acting in his new film.
Farhadi’s new movie, which is now in pre-production, is set to be filmed in Iran.
Farhadi used amateur actors in his first two films; however, since then his productions have all been done with professional actors.
After this Iranian production, Farhadi is set to make his next film in Spain with Pedro Almodovar.
