Ali Tabatabayi, a 32-year-old Iranian actor, died on Sunday August 30 from a heart attack.
ISNA reports that the death of Tabatabayi, who began his film career at the age of 22, has shocked the Iranian film community.
Tabatabayi acted in several films and TV series such as The 25th hour, Be Ready, Kings White Horse, Brothers-in-Law, the Cook, Mother’s Lullaby and Frozen Heart.
Numerous actors and artists have expressed their utter shock at the news on social media, posting photos of Tabatabayi, who will be laid to rest on Tuesday.
Heart and cardiovascular disease are seen as the number one killer in Iran.
