Senior Iranian diplomat and nuclear negotiator Abbas Araghchi told reporters after five days of negotiations in Vienna that differences regarding the draft of the agreement have been reduced but the rate of progress is falling short of expectations.

Araghchi told Seda va Sima, Iran’s national broadcaster, that the draft of the agreement is very complex, with technical, legal and political dimensions that all need to be satisfied.
Araghchi, on his way to Luxembourg to join the meeting of foreign ministers, said if necessary they will go a number of days beyond the June 30 deadline in order to reach the most favourable result.
He said the desired agreement will let Iran’s nuclear program continue to grow and remove all sanctions.
The Iranian foreign minister is currently in Luxembourg to attend the meeting with the 5+1 foreign ministers.
