Iranian diplomat Hamid Baidinejad says the next round of nuclear talks with the 5+1 will commence on Tuesday May 22 in Vienna and will continue through to Friday.
According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, this round of talks will be at the level of deputy ministers and technical experts.
Hamid Baidinejad, a member of the negotiation team, posted some information regarding the talks on his Instagram account, announcing the culmination of talks in New York on Thursday May 7 and their continuation next week in Vienna.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Congress has approved a bill giving Congress the right to examine any possible deal coming out of the talks between Iran and the 5+1 on the nuclear issue.
At the same time, 150 members of the U.S. House of Representatives issued a letter today expressing support for the Obama administration and its efforts at diplomacy with Iran over the nuclear issue.
Baidinejad has stated that as the drafting of the agreement proceeds, some matters have been resolved and others are still under discussion.
The parties are aiming to finalize the agreement by the end of June.
