Senior Iranian diplomat Abbas Araghchi says a new round of nuclear talks will take place between Iran and the U.S. in Geneva in the coming days.

Araghchi indicates that the deputy foreign ministers will meet on Friday and Saturday to discuss preliminary issues ahead of the meeting between Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry set for Sunday and Monday.
Araghchi added that it’s possible the talks will continue on the fifth day with 5+1 representatives.
Yesterday, Iran’s Supreme Leader expressed doubt about the possibility of reaching a favourable resolution in the talks and called on the people of Iran to prepare for resistance against continued international sanctions.
The U.S. has announced that it is looking for a political agreement over the general issues by the end of March, with the technical details to be worked out by July 1.
Iran’s Supreme Leader criticized a two-stage process, saying the agreement should be in one stage and comprehensive.
