Oil prices fell once again on world markets, reaching $60.43 a barrel after OPEC announced that demand for its oil will fall to 28.9 million barrels a day in the coming year.
IRNA reported that the price of a barrel of oil for delivery in the month of January has fallen below $61 dollars.
The price quoted by IRNA on Wednesday reveals a drop of $2.88 drop compared to Tuesday December 9 and a 40-percent fall compared to six months ago.
On the London exchange, a barrel of Brent oil fell $2.60 to $64.24.
OPEC has announced that in 2015, demand for its oil will fall to a 12-year low.
