The last round of talks between Iran and the 5+1, which began on Tuesday November 18, will now continue in the presence of US foreign secretary John Kerry, who has announced he will follow the talks up close in Vienna.
Kerry has met with British Foreign Minister Philip Hammond in London to discuss the progress of the nuclear talks, Following the meeting, Hammond called on Tehran to show more flexibility, adding that there is still a chance to reach a final resolution.
John Kerry left for France today and after discussions with French authorities, he will then travel to Vienna. Kerry is due in Vienna tonight or Friday morning.
The parties are approaching the deadline they set for themselves to reach a final deal, therefore, this final round of talks could go straight through to November 24.
So far there has been no talks of extending the deadline beyond Monday.
The number of Iran's nuclear centrifuges and the mechanism for removing sanctions are reportedly the main topics of discussion at this time.
