Constructions workers in Qeshm have filed a complaint against the Board of Directors of the Qeshm Free Regional Organization for failing to provide workers’ insurance for workers in the construction industry.
The head of the Workers Union, Ebrahim Sadeghi, told ILNA that it filed a complaint against two of the board members of the Qeshm Free Region Organization about one month ago.
The first hearing into the complaint was held on Sunday October 19.
Sadeghi accused management of collecting the insurance premiums from workers but failing to transfer them to the Social Welfare Organization for investment.
He stated that the Qeshm group is receiving 70 million to 90 million toumans per day for insurance but is failing to provide insurance for the workers.
