Iranian security forces have announced an increase in police patrols around schools to prevent “drug distribution” and “the gathering of boys near girls' schools.”
In a report on Monday October 6, the Shargh daily reports that the morality police have increased their patrols of areas near schools to collaborate with school authorities in preventing drug dealing and the gathering of boys near girls' schools.
Iran’s security police have a morality branch that patrols the streets to fine or even arrest citizens whom they deem to be dressed inappropriately and in violation of Islamic dress codes.
