Iran defeated Argentina in its second win in the second round of volleyball championships, vanquishing a team led by Iran's former coach, Julio Velasco.
Iran beat Argentina three sets to none and will now go on to meet the Polish team on Saturday September 13.
Slobodan Kovač, the Iranian team's Serbian coach, said he was satisfied with his team's performance, adding that they will face a much greater challenge playing host team Poland on Saturday. He added that the arena will be filled with Polish supporters and the team will have to maintain greater concentration to give the game their best.
