The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) says it has brought down an Israeli drone. In a statement issued on Sunday August 24, the IRGC says the “spying drone” was targeted by rockets and brought down while attempting to enter Natanz airspace.
Iran’s uranium enrichment facility is located in Natanz in Isfahan Province.
Israel has not yet reacted to the news.
The IRGC previously has announced the downing of U.S. drones in Iranian territory but this is the first time it has reported bringing down an Israeli drone.
