ISNA reports that Yukiya Amani is accompanied by a delegation of four for a one day trip in Tehran.

Behrouz Kamalvandi spokesman for Iran’s nuclear agency had announced earlier that Amano would be arriving in Tehran for discussions with Iranian officials.

Press TV reports that according to a statement issued by the agency “The visit will focus on the ongoing cooperation between the IAEA and the Islamic Republic of Iran in the context of the Roadmap for the clarification of past and present outstanding issues regarding Iran’s nuclear program.”

Iran and the 5+1 reached a nuclear agreement last July and IAEA is charged with monitoring Iran’s compliance with commitments to curbing its nuclear activities.

Iranian parliamentary commission charged with reviewing the nuclear agreement has said that the IAEA chief may be appearing at the Comprehensive Joint Plan of Action Committee on Sunday in Tehran to respond to a number of concerns by committee members.
