Four Iranian Sunni prisoners in Qezel Hessar Prison have ended their hunger strike after 75 days.

The Human Rights Reporters News Agency reports that the four prisoners began their hunger strike to protest their death sentences and to question the fairness of the proceedings against them.

The prisoners report that they ended their hunger strike in view of the promises by prison authorities to meet their demands.

In a letter, Hamed Ahmadi, Kamal Molayi, Jamshid Dehghani and Jahangir Dehghani have announced that Ali Hosseiny, the head of Qezel Hessar Prison, has given his word that their files will be submitted for a review and that they will also be returned to Rejai Shahr Prison, from which they had been transferred.
