Civil activists in Iran are seriously concerned about the lack of medical facilities and services for political prisoners in Iran.
Six political prisoners in Oroumiyeh Prison are said to be in a grave state of health.

The Kurdish political prisoners suffering from serious health problems are: Ali-Ahmad Soleyman, Mostafa Ali-Ahmad, Haman Hassazadeh, Ali Afshari, Keyvan Esmaili and Behrouz Alkhani.

The Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) reports that prison officials are refusing to transfer these prisoners to hospital despite their immediate need for medical treatment.
